We=E2=80=99re= hopeful that this collaboration will make a meaningful impact across healt= h, nutrition, and education. Celebrating the Gates Foundation's 25th Annive= rsary in New Delhi =C2=A0 This year marks the Gates Foundation=E2=80=99s 25= th anniversary, and it was wonderful to celebrate the occasion with our inc= redible team and partners in India. We reflected on some of the country=E2= =80=99s greatest achievements over the past few decades=E2=80=94including e= xpanded healthcare access, stronger agricultural systems, improved sanitati= on, and increased opportunities for women. The excitement in the room was c= ontagious. =C2=A0 Meeting with the PM It=E2=80=99s always great to sit down= and talk with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We had an engaging discussion = about India=E2=80=99s development and plans for the future, including his v= ision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The transformative work happening in India isn= =E2=80=99t just improving lives locally=E2=80=94it's driving progress aroun= d the world. Visiting the Indian Council of Medical Research=C2=A0 I visite= d the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), where I learned about grou= ndbreaking innovations in development=E2=80=94including fetal monitoring sy= stems and real-time tuberculosis detection tools. Meeting with Government L= eaders =C2=A0 It was an honor to meet with government leaders who are champ= ioning programs that advance financial inclusion, clean energy, AI and digi= tal public infrastructure, agri-tech, and public health. Our conversations = were inspiring and reinforced my belief in what=E2=80=99s possible when big= challenges are matched by even bigger ambitions. This trip deepened my und= erstanding of how India=E2=80=99s innovations are reshaping not just the co= untry, but the world. It was a reminder of what can happen when leadership,= bold ideas, and collaboration come together to improve lives at scale.
