Good day!

Please be informed that our bank, The Premier Bank Limit= ed (PBL), Gulshan Cirle-02 Branch, issued a counter guarantee to BRT, the c= oncern authority ( end customer) against the master guarantee issued by Min= sheng Bank. Thus, PBL has provided a service and has taken a risk & res= ponsibility against any claim from BRT (in case). Therefore, PBL has asked = for their commission charges against the said counter guarantee, and they h= ave clearly mentioned the breakdown of the commission fee, which is as foll= ows:

Total Guarantee= Amount: USD 500,000.00
Charge Breakdown
Commission: USD 7,500.00
Gov= t. VAT on Commission: USD 1,125.00
Courier Charg= e: USD 50.00
SWIFT Charge: USD 36.00
Stamp Charge: USD 5.00
Total Cha= rge: USD 8,716.00

Th= is is a very common practice for such matters. Previously, PBL issued sever= al counter guarantees, and every time, the  foreign banks paid PBL for= the counter guarantee they issued.
And there is= no scope of burgain for the commission charges.

I hope you have now understood why PBL has cla= imed the commission charges & justification of the commission amount.
