Plea= se be informed that our bank, The Premier Bank Limited (PBL), Gulshan Cirle= -02 Branch, issued a counter guarantee to BRT, the concern authority ( end = customer) against the master guarantee issued by Minsheng Bank. Thus, PBL h= as provided a service and has taken a risk & responsibility against any= claim from BRT (in case). Therefore, PBL has asked for their commission ch= arges against the said counter guarantee, and they have clearly mentioned t= he breakdown of the commission fee, which is as follows:

Total Guarantee Amount: USD 500,000.0= 0
Charge Breakdown
Co= mmission: USD 7,500.00
Govt. VAT on Commission: = USD 1,125.00
Courier Charge: USD 50.00
=
SWIFT Charge: USD 36.00
Stamp = Charge: USD 5.00
Total Charge: USD 8,716.00

This is a very common pr= actice for such matters. Previously, PBL issued several counter guarantees,= and every time, the  foreign banks paid PBL for the counter guarantee= they issued.
And there is no scope of burgain f= or the commission charges.

I hope you have now understood why PBL has claimed the commission ch= arges & justification of the commission amount.

As the China Minsheng bank issued th= e letter of guarantee and it is the guarantee bank, it is reasonable for Mi= nsheng Bank to charge a certain rate according to the length of validity of= the letter of guarantee (and we had already paid it), while the receiving = bank in Banglamark only receives the notice and transit the message.  = There is no guarantee from your bank, so it is unreasonable to charge a fee= on the guarantee.
